Colonel Marian Golebiewski Papers
1939-1996

In brief: Marian Golebiewski (1911-1996). Took part in the 1939 campaign and fought in France in 1940. Dropped by parachute in Poland in 1942, he fought in the Home Army. Captured in 1947, he was condemned to death. Released in 1956, he emigrated to the U.S.A. in 1982. Coordinator of Americans for Independent Poland.
