We are very grateful to all of our Friends who joined us on November 8th, 2022 to celebrate Poland's Independence Day.
On November 11th,1918 Poland regained its independence. After 123 years of partition, the country became a sovereign state again. After the end of World War I, Poland reappeared on the map of Europe. The Institute celebrated the anniversary with a lecture by Adrian Kubicki, the Consul General of the Republic of Poland in New York. The young pianist, Nicholas Kaponyas, performed Fryderyk Chopin and Grażyna Bacewicz.
