On October 26, the Awards Gala and celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Jozef Pilsudski Institute in America took place at the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in New York.
During the event, Institute's medals were awarded to:
- Zofia Kłopotowska, editor-in-chief of the weekly Kurier Plus - Marshal Józef Piłsudski Leadership and Achievement Award.
- Jack Fairweather, journalist and author of the best-selling book The Voulnteer - Joseph Conrad Literature Award.
- Artur Bartłomiej Chmielewski, Project Manager at NASA - Marie Skłodowska-Curie Medal.
